My name is Sydney and I’ve been in customer service since my first job, when I worked at a theme park for kids. I’ve lived in Oregon my entire life. I grew up in Salem, and moved down to Eugene for college, where I graduated from University of Oregon with a bachelor’s in psychology. Throughout college, I worked at a couple of different stores in retail, and worked my way up to be an assistant manager. After I graduated, I was looking for a way to still be involved in people's lives with customer care, while also getting away from the retail aspect. In April of 2022, I stumbled upon Joshua Merrion State Farm. I was already a State Farm customer, but then I joined the State Farm family. Down the road, I plan to continue my education in psychology and become a counselor for teenagers. I’ve always known I want to be in a career where I can help people. Currently, I’m able to do just that with State Farm and help people fulfill their insurance needs. When I’m not updating policies, sending evidence of insurance, or answering coverage questions, I love to read, paddle board, and hang out with my friends. Just like at work, I’m always busy!
